To handle demanding scanning tasks and twelve-hour shifts in hazardous areas comfortably and efficiently, the Pepperl+Fuchs brand ecom offers intrinsically safe barcode scanners and RFID readers. With their modular design, these rugged handheld scanners can be easily adapted to the needs and requirements of various identification tasks. Additionally, they can be coupled with standard ecom products or any other mobile device via Bluetooth® connection.

The CUBE 800 dual-camera system with HD optics and thermal imaging technology delivers HD videos and images as well as infrastructure status analyses. These can be displayed on mobile devices, stored, and shared via the Onsight Connect platform. Additionally, the body scanning function allows for non-contact temperature measurements of groups or individuals. CUBE 800 can be attached to safety helmets, headbands, and monopods, which enables recording in hard-to-access areas.

BLE beacons are small radio beacons for Zone 1/21 and Div. 1 that emit a signal in periodic intervals. The beacons support the Bluetooth® 4.0 standard, which means they are compatible with current smartphones and tablets. These devices can recognize the beacons at a distance of up to 200 m (geolocation). This enables solutions for localization, lone worker protection, physical access control, and guard control and visitor guidance systems.
