PMI360D-F130 for Compensating Roller Control on Textile Machinery

Task

In the textiles industry, the constant flow of material is typically regulated using jockey rollers or compensating rollers. In the past, electromechanical limit switches or potentiometric sensors were frequently used, but they are often unreliable in unfavorable operating conditions.

Implementation

The PMI360D-F130 analog measurement system offers an optimum solution for this task. The non contact sensing system and IP67 housing defies the most difficult operating conditions. The “pointer movement“ of the compensator roller is transformed into a current signal (working range 4-20 mA), which provides advanced drive regulation.
